How it works
From setup to your first published week
Set up your company once on the web, connect a tablet at each site, and your team works from their phones. Here is what each step looks like.
Up and running in three steps
- Web dashboard
Set up your company
Create your sites and departments, then invite your managers and staff.
- Create your sites and their departments
- Add managers and employees, with their role and site
- Create your leave, absence and document types in your own words
- Connect a tablet at the entrance of each site
- Mobile app · Tablet kiosk
Your team uses the app
Employees see their shifts, request leave and punch in at the site kiosk.
- See their shifts for the week on their phone
- Clock in on the tablet with a PIN, or with the app or a QR code when you allow it
- Request leave and follow the answer
- Send and receive their documents
- Web dashboard
You stay in control
Owners and administrators follow planning, attendance and absences from the web dashboard.
- Build and publish the planning, department by department
- Compare planned and punched hours in attendance
- Approve leave with the balance in view
- Export the hours for payroll in Excel or CSV
Connect the time-clock tablet
Any iPad or Android tablet becomes the time clock of a site in a few minutes.
- 1
Create a code
In the dashboard, open Settings → Time-clock tablets and create a one-time code, valid for 10 minutes.
- 2
Enter it on the tablet
Open the Averty time-clock app on the tablet and type the code. The tablet is now connected to that site.
- 3
Staff clock in with their PIN
Each employee types their own PIN, so every punch is theirs. You can disconnect the tablet at any time.
Your first week
A typical start for a site. Go at your own pace: nothing is locked in.
- Day 1
Set up
Create your sites, departments and the types of leave and absence you use.
- Day 2
Invite your team
Add your staff and connect the tablet. Employees sign in to the app on their phone.
- Day 3
Publish the planning
Build next week department by department and publish it: everyone sees their shifts.
- End of week
Check the hours
Compare what was planned with what was punched, correct a forgotten punch with a reason.
